- Bruckners mis in f wordt vaak als concertmis uitgevoerd door grote
koren en orkesten. Bruckner heeft deze mis echter geschreven voor de
Hofburgkapelle die bestond uit 18 personen. Het begeleidende orkest
was verhoudingsgewijs ook klein.
- Het is dan ook historisch juist om deze mis uit te voeren met een
kamerkoor en een klein kamerorkest.

- Bruckners Mass nr.3 is often
performed as a concert-mass by enormous choirs and big orchestras. We
must realise that Bruckner
wrote this mass for the Hofburgkapelle that had 18 singers.
The orchestra that accompanied the Hofburgkapelle performance was
proportionally small.
- Therefore it is historically correct to perform the mass with a
chamber choir and a chamber orchestra.
